FILM CAMPS ARE HELD AT THE EGYPTIAN THEATRE ~ ALL OTHER CAMPS ARE HELD AT MINER'S HOSPITAL

Drop off & Pick up:
Per Park City Municipal Request: Students must be dropped off and picked up on the SOUTH side of the Miner’s Hospital (opposite side of the Rec Building). Staff will be waiting at this location from 8:50 am-9:05 am, after which you will need to get your student inside. To park, please do so in designated parking spots on the SOUTH side of the building. To avoid congestion, DO NOT pull up right in front of Miner’s Hospital at the City Park Entrance.

Final camps days* will be held at the Egyptian Theatre: 328 Main Street (with exception of STEAM & Drama Adventures Camps which will stay at Miner's on final camp day.
On the last day of camp, please drop off at the blue stage door at the back of the Egyptian Theatre on Swede Alley. Staff will be waiting to collect students and accompany them into the theatre.

Please note the following:
If your student will be missing a day, needs to be picked up early, or you need to reach us during the camp day, please call the YouTheatre Summer Cell: 435-659-5986 (This phone is only on 9am-3pm, Mon-Fri. Please leave a voicemail if you call outside of camp hours and we will return your call ASAP).

Student DROP OFF is between 8:50am and 9:05am. YouTheatre staff will not be responsible for students dropped off before 8:50am. Parents will need to accompany their child inside if dropping off after 9:05am.

Student PICK UP is at 3pm for all camps but Theatre Bugs pick-up is 1pm pick-up time, though Theatre Bugs after-care goes until 3pm IF you signed up in advance).

We ask that you respect the time of our staff, and we reserve the right to bill you $1/minute that a staff member needs to wait with your student after ten minutes past pick-up time.

Keep in mind that YouTheatre camps ends in a performance and strive to have your student attend on time EVERY DAY so they, and their classmates, are well prepared for their moment in the spotlight!

Dress Code:
Students are required to wear a YouTheatre t-shirt to each day of camp. One (1) official Egyptian YouTheatre Summer 2018 t-shirt will be provided, based on the size requested at registration, on the first day of camp. Previous years’ t-shirts may also be worn, and you may purchase them at the sign-in tables for $5/each.

Students must wear CLOSED TOE shoes. No flip-flops! Shorts or leggings are required under skirts or dresses.

Behavior Policy:
The Egyptian YouTheatre runs on a 3 strike behavior policy for students. The student is first given a verbal warning to change the inappropriate behavior. Three (3) strikes are given after the initial warning, with a third resulting in dismissal from the program.

Lunch/Snack:
Please send your student daily with a water bottle (labeled with their name) and a snack or lunch (that does not require refrigeration). If your student is staying for Theatre Bugs after-care, please pack extra snacks.

Performance:
Last Friday of camp at The Egyptian Theatre, doors will open to audience ten minutes prior to performance times listed below:

STEAM: Awesome Aviation & Drama Adventures: Planes, Traines & Automobiles, will perform at Miner's Hospital at 1pm on July 20.

Advanced Film- June 18-29 ~ Teen Film- July 23-27

Drop off & Pick up:
Film Camps are held at the Egyptian Theatre @ 328 Main Street.

Drop Off: Students must enter through the lobby doors. You can drop-off in front of the theatre on Main Street, or at the BLUE STAGE DOOR behind the theatre on Swede Alley and your child can proceed up the breezeway to the Main Street entrance.

Pick up: To avoid Main Street traffic, pickup will be at the BLUE STAGE DOOR on Swede Alley @ 3pm.

Students should wear clothing that they can easily move in and must wear CLOSED TOE shoes. No flip-flops!

We suggest students bring a bag or backpack and sunscreen and/or a hat as film students may spend days outside “on location” away from the theatre.

Showcase:

Film Camp world premiere screenings are at the Egyptian (doors will open to audience ten minutes prior) @ 2pm on final Friday of camp. 

*Film camp students are welcome to arrive at the normal camp time of 9am on Fridays. However, they are not required to be at the theatre until NOON for their pre-screening.
